We conduct research focused on blue carbon recovery and the impact of tropical cyclones and invasive plant species on mangrove ecosystems. Our main interest is to understand how mangrove degradation affects key ecosystem services, such as carbon sequestration and greenhouse gas emissions. We actively participate in conservation projects and the development of applied science for the ecological restoration of mangrove forests.
