I am dedicated to rice quality breeding and the genetic improvement of specialty rice. My research focuses on rice grain quality, seed development, and stress resistance. By integrating molecular marker-assisted selection and genomic breeding with conventional approaches, I work to develop high-quality and specialty rice varieties that combine superior eating quality, nutritional value, and resilience. My broader interests include the molecular regulation of grain quality traits and the genetic basis of disease, pest, and abiotic stress resistance.
