Dr. Amaniel Kefleyesus is a fellow in the Department of Visceral Surgery at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV). He completed a two-year clinical research fellowship on peritoneal surface malignancies at the University Hospital of Lyon under the supervision of Prof. Olivier Glehen. His recent work focuses on identifying prognostic factors following the curative treatment of peritoneal malignancies and optimizing perioperative patient management. Dr. Kefleyesus holds the FEBS (EBSQ Coloproctology) and the European Certification in Peritoneal Surface Oncology (PSOGI-ESSO). His teaching areas include minimally invasive surgery, colorectal surgery, and robotic-assisted surgery.
