Dr. Kun Wang, Associate Professor at the School of Metallurgy, Northeastern University, China. I enjoy running and doing exercise. My research is dedicated to the circular utilization of non-ferrous metal resources and solid wastes. Focusing on iron-bearing metallurgical wastes such as high-iron red mud, copper slag, and lead-zinc slag, I have been developing novel biomass vortex smelting reduction technologies based on the concept of mineral phase reconstruction. My mission is to bridge the gap between laboratory innovation and industrial application in sustainable metallurgy, contributing to the national strategy for resource circulation and low-carbon development.
