Kunal Ranjan has a graduate degree in Biotechnology from the department of Biotechnology at St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India, a Master’s degree in Microbiology at Pondicherry University, India and a Ph.D. in Molecular Pathology from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Brasilia, Brazil (UnB). He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Amity Institute of Biotechnology at the Amity University Jharkhand (AUJ). His main area of research include microbiology and molecular biology with an emphasis on the antimicrobial, epigenetics, photododynamic therapy, and biofertilizers etc. He has published more than 20 articles in international journals and presented several communications at national and international conferences.
