Prof. Habil. Dr. Lavinia Maria Hogea is a graduate of the West University of Timișoara, Faculty of Sociology and Psychology, where she completed both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees. She earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Bucharest in 2013 and received her Habilitation Certificate (Ordin MEN Nr. 3930/14.06.2021) in 2021. Since 2013, she has been a lecturer at the “Victor Babeș” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timișoara, in the Department of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences. She is also a practicing psychological counselor and, since 2020, the director of the Center for Neuropsychology and Behavioral Medicine. She teaches various psychology-related courses, coordinates student research and volunteer activities, and mentors Ph.D. candidates in the field of Medicine. Dr. Hogea has co-authored an awarded invention (Dry Powder Inhaler for patients with ventilatory dysfunction, OSIM Nr. 43908/2016) and has published six academic books. Her students have received recognition at national conferences such as Timisoara Medical Education Days and TIMMED.
