Dr. Xiancun Hu is currently an assistant professor in the building and construction management discipline at the School of Design and Built Environment, Faculty of Arts and Design. He has taught at Deakin University, Edith Cowan University, Shandong Jianzhu University (China), the University of Melbourne, and Victoria University. He is a member of the Australian Institutes of Building and Project Management, a certified constructor in China, and investment project management professional in China. His research focuses on sustainable construction, construction project management, and smart construction.
