Dr. Lei Wang received his master’s degree in geographic information science and cartography at the Institute of Remote Sensing Applications (IRSA), Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, in 2000, and completed his PhD studies in geography at Texas A&M University in 2006. He is currently a professor in the Department of Geography & Anthropology, Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA, USA. His research interests include geocomputation in space and time, field spectroscopy, water resources, and flood hazards.
