Biography

Research Focus Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) — investigating molecular mechanisms of tumor development, metastasis, and prognostic biomarkers (e.g., your recent work on PAIP1's role in alternative splicing of cancer pathway genes and GCDH as a metastasis biomarker) Viral Hepatitis — clinical treatment and antiviral strategies for HBV/HCV infections Metabolic Liver Disease — non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and related conditions Academic Orientation Your research bridges translational medicine and molecular oncology, with a particular emphasis on post-transcriptional gene regulation (pre-mRNA splicing, transcript-level control) and their implications for immune response, tumor microenvironment, and therapeutic targeting. You also maintain active interest in drug delivery systems, as evidenced by your work on exosome-based therapeutics. Leadership & Service Beyond the laboratory, you hold significant administrative and professional roles — currently serving as Deputy Director of Infectious Diseases at your hospital, doctoral supervisor since 2020, and holding multiple committee positions across national and provincial hepatology, infectious disease, and oncology organizations in China.
