Lidia is a senior researcher and has a Ph.D. in chemistry. She has 10 years of experience in research projects performing research studies regarding assessments on the impact of hazardous substances on environmental components (surface water, groundwater, soil, and sediment), and distribution and mobility studies of heavy metals and different hazardous contaminants in surface water, soil and plants in areas affected by anthropogenic activities. She developed new models and methodologies for assessing and characterizing hazardous waste and substances per EU legislation.
