My research interests materials design, synthesis, and functionalization of inorganic and organic nanoparticles, and their transformation into nanoconjugates for energy and biomedical application. I am particularly interested in the development of advanced nanomaterials and nanocomposites, surface engineering through coating and modification techniques, and the integration of polymeric systems to tailor material properties for targeted functionality. My work is driven by a fundamental curiosity about material behavior at the nanoscale and a commitment to translating these insights into practical solutions across scientific disciplines. I am particularly interested in two complementary areas:
1. Catalysis and Catalytic Reaction Engineering:
I explore the development of advanced nanocatalysts with tailored surface and interface properties for industrially significant reactions. My research aims to uncover the structure function relationships in heterogeneous catalysis, emphasizing reaction kinetics, catalyst stability, and surface chemistry. Applications include catalysis for sustainable energy, conversion of biomass to fuels, oxidative esterification, efficient catalysts for processes such as methyl methacrylate synthesis and related topics.
2. Dynamic Behavior of Nanomaterials in Nanomedicine:
I investigate the evolution and functionalization of nanostructures and nanocomposites for biomedical applications, including diagnostics, imaging, drug delivery, and targeted therapy.
