I earned my BSc in Medical Laboratory Science from Jordan University of Science and Technology before pursuing my master's degree in Medical Laboratory Science with a focus on Medical Microbiology, Immunology, and Serology at the same university. Subsequently, I completed my PhD in Medical Microbiology at the University of Aberdeen. Following the completion of my PhD, I returned to Mu’tah University, where I have been actively contributing as an assistant professor in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science. The emergence of multidrug resistance is a significant global concern. In particular, medical microbes have impacted patients, resulting in health issues that can pose life-threatening risks. Gaining insights into the mechanisms of resistance and their distribution is crucial for healthcare providers to ensure appropriate patient treatment and minimize health risks. Research in antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is an essential and extensive field focused on comprehending, addressing, and alleviating the increasing global menace of resistance to antimicrobial agents.
