Information

Throughout his career, he has published a little less than a hundred papers in SCI, SCIE, SSCI, and EI journals (Q1 or Q2) on materials science and chemistry, with a special emphasis on electrochemistry and energy conversion, design and synthesis of advanced membrane materials for CO2 capture, and the investigation of catalytic properties of nanomaterials. Since his Ph.D., he has been a member of many international organizations. Due to his expertise, he was chosen as a referee of many international and high-ranking journals, such as Materials Letters, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, Journal of the Electrochemical Society, and Journal of Membrane Science. Professor Magnone is also serving on the editorial board and as the editor-in-chief of numerous international journals, as well as being an ad hoc grant reviewer for different scientific associations and institutions. In his many years as a researcher at the Korea Institute of Energy Research (KIER) and as assistant professor at the Dongguk University, Professor Magnone contributed significantly to the advancement of the CO2 emissions reduction goals of the Korean Government through national research grants provided by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea (KME); Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP); Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport (MOLIT); and Korean Ministry of Education.
