I obtained my PhD from the University of the Basque Country (EHU) in 2010, and after conducting postdoctoral research at the University of Copenhagen, I have been working as a Professor in the area of Analytical Chemistry at EHU since 2012. My research interests include chemometrics, digital image analysis, and the resolution of complex analytical signals in general, with a particular focus on the fields of metal electrodeposition and food science. I have participated in 27 research projects related to my areas of interest, of which I have served as the principal investigator in four. I have published 29 scientific articles, 24 of which appear in high-impact journals in Analytical Chemistry and related areas (Q1), with an h-index of 15. In addition, I have presented 53 contributions at conferences, many at the international level. I have co-supervised three PhD theses, all awarded Cum Laude and the European Doctorate distinction, and I am currently co-supervising another doctoral thesis.
