Marcos Galván is Professor of Public Health Nutrition at the Universidad Autonoma del Estado de Hidalgo (México). He is also Visiting Professor at the Instituto Politecnico Nacional (México) and he is a member of the National System of Researchers level 2. He studied PhD. Human Nutrition and Food at the University of Chile (Santiago of Chile). He has participated in several research projects supported by the Fondo Conjunto de Cooperación Chile-México, State Government of Hidalgo and the National Council for the Humanities, Sciences and Technologies (NUTRENTO, NUTREH, PESOEH). He has published more than 80 papers in peer reviewed journals. He is a member of the FINUT Scientific Committee.
