I work currently as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Helsinki. I received an MD degree from the University of el Rosario, Colombia and a PhD in Clinical Virology from Karolinska Institute, Sweden. My research interests include human persisting viruses, which I study in clinical and historical perspectives.
