Full researcher at the Instituto Nacional de Investigação Agrária e Veterinária (INIAV, I.P.). ML Inácio is the head of the Nematology lab of INIAV (NemaINIAV), the Portuguese reference Lab for Plant Health, representing INIAV in organizations as OILB/IOBC and EPPO as a Portuguese delegate. In the last years, ML Inácio was able to strengthen international collaborations through her participation in international meetings and team projects. She is also very committed to students' supervision and teaching, both at the national and international level and to disseminate knowledge in high IF journals. She is editor and scientific reviewer of national and international journals.
