Maria Luisa Feo is an accomplished environmental chemist and researcher with over 20 years of experience in environmental monitoring, remediation, and analytical chemistry. She holds a Ph.D. in Ecology and Management of Biological Resources from the University of Tuscia, Italy, and a degree in Chemistry from the University of Naples Federico II. She has conducted research at leading public institutions, including the Italian National Research Council (CNR) and the Spanish CSIC. Her work focuses on developing advanced analytical methodologies for the assessment of priority and emerging contaminants in various environmental matrices, utilizing state-of-the-art techniques such as chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry. Additionally, she has investigated strategies for the mitigation and removal of organic pollutants. Maria Luisa has authored over 30 publications in high-impact international journals and has participated in numerous national and international research projects.
