Mariangela Agamennone has been an Associate Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at the Department of Pharmacy of the University "G. d'Annunzio" of Chieti-Pescara since 2022. From May 2003 to December 2003, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Siena. From 2005 to 2007, she worked as a visiting scientist at Siena Biotech, and from 2005 to 2022, she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Chieti. In her research, she applies a wide range of computational tools to mainly study and design metallo-enzyme inhibitors, protein–protein interaction inhibitors, and anti-influenza agents.
