Juan Carlos Corrales received a Dipl-Ing and a Master’s degree in telematics engineering from the University of Cauca, Colombia, in 1999 and 2004, respectively, and a Ph.D. in sciences, specifically speciality computer science, from the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yve-lines, France, in 2008. At present, he is a full professor and leads the Telematics Engineering Group (GIT) at the University of Cauca.
