Yury Maritza Zapata Lopera, is a candidate to receive the degree of Doctorate, by the Biotic Products Development Center of the National Polytechnic Institute. She obtained a Master of Science degree from the same institution in 2018. The experience she has developed is mainly focused on exploring the immunomodulatory activity of drugs isolated from medicinal plants. The doctoral candidate expects to develop a line of research in Natural Products with Pharmacological activity.
