Information

I am Group Leader of the Sea Ice and Remote Sesning Group at FMI. I am also Docent in microwave remote sensing with Aalto University, Finland. I work on development of sea ice remote sensing methods and applications. This includes analyzing backscatter and brightness temperature signatures of sea ice as function of sensor and sea ice parameters, and use of theoretical signature models in the data analysis.
