Currently, I am doing PhD in Crop Germplasm Resources with a strong focus on genome-wide association studies (GWAS) for gene discovery and functional analysis related to biotic and abiotic stress. My research aims to identify key genes and alleles from diverse germplasm to improve crop resilience and productivity through molecular breeding and genetic improvement strategies. I am also interested to work on the improvement of crop varieties through CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing technique.
