José Manuel Mendes graduated in Dental Medicine at the High Institute of Health Sciences in 1993. He got a Ph.D. Degree (and European Ph.D.) in Dental Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Barcelona in 2005. He is a Full Professor at the IUCS in Oral Rehabilitation and Prosthodontics. He is also a coordinator of the Master’s Degree program in Oral Rehabilitation at the University Institute of Health Sciences (IUCS), a coordinator of the program of the Postgraduate Specialization Course in Oral Rehabilitation and Prosthodontics (IUCS), a director of the Oral Rehabilitation and Prosthodontics Service (IUCS), and a coordinator of the Oral Rehabilitation and Prosthodontics Research Laboratory (IUCS). His research interests include prosthodontics, implantology, oral rehabilitation, implant dentistry, and prosthetic dentistry.
