Dr. Mian Abdur Rehman works in the wheat breeding group at Nuclear Institute for Agriculture and Biology (NIAB), Faisalabad, Pakistan. He specializes in the use of both QTL mapping and association mapping techniques in crop plants to investigate the quantitative traits in crop plants. He holds a PhD in Plant Breeding and Genetics, and his supervisor was Prof. Dr. Andreas Börner at IPK-Gatersleben. At NIAB, he deals with all wheat traits to breed climate smart and high yielding wheat cultivars.
