Modupe Olufunmilayo Ogunrombi is a NRF C2-rated researcher at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University, Pretoria, South Africa. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree obtained at Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, Masters’ and Ph.D degrees in Pharmaceutical Chemistry obtained at Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria and North - West University, Potchefstroom Campus, South Africa. She is a multi-disciplinary scholar with a research focus on the discovery and development of novel drugs for the management of both communicable and non-communicable diseases. Her work primarily focuses on Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Sciences, Neurochemistry, and Phytomedicine.
