Mohammed Ibrahim Awad received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 2001 and 2005, respectively, and his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Institute of Design, Robotics and Optimisation at the University of Leeds, Leeds, UK in 2012. He was a research fellow in Institute of Design, Robotics and Optimisation at University of Leeds. He is currently working as an Associate Professor at Ain Shams University. His current research interests include mechatronic systems design, intelligent control systems, control of lower limb prostheses, rehabilitation devices, and robotics.
