Dr. Muhammad Kashif is a Post-Doctoral Researcher in Health Sciences at Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin), Ireland. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan, where his research focused on optoelectronic techniques, nanomaterial synthesis, and Raman microspectroscopy.
He has over 12 years of experience in advanced spectroscopic techniques, particularly Raman spectroscopy and Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS), combined with chemometric and multivariate data analysis. His expertise includes PCA, PLS-DA, PLSR, and MCR-ALS using MATLAB for chemical identification, classification, and kinetic modelling of complex biological and chemical systems.
Dr. Kashif’s research spans nanomaterials for biomedical applications, cancer diagnostics and drug delivery, microbial and antibiotic resistance analysis, and process monitoring in food and pharmaceutical sciences. He has authored more than fifteen peer-reviewed research articles, two review paper, and two book chapters, with additional manuscripts under review.
He also has over a decade of teaching experience as a Lecturer in the Higher Education Department of Punjab, Pakistan. His current research interests include AI-enhanced Raman/SERS platforms, data-driven health diagnostics, and translational spectroscopy aimed at innovation, funding acquisition, and patent development.
