I am Prof. Dr. Mustafa Cengiz, a Professor at Siirt University, Faculty of Education, Department of Mathematics and Science Teaching, Division of Science Teaching. I received my B.Sc. in Biology and my M.Sc. in Biology from Eskişehir Osmangazi University, and my Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Anadolu University. My research focuses on cancer biology, experimental therapeutics, cytotoxicity, apoptosis, oxidative stress, nanomaterials, and drug delivery. I have contributed to numerous experimental and translational studies on anticancer agents, green synthesis of nanoparticles, and molecular mechanisms of cell death, and I have published in international peer-reviewed journals. Among my notable works are studies on the green biosynthesis of selenium and zinc oxide nanoparticles, eco-friendly biosynthesized metal nanoparticles, and ceranib-2-based anticancer approaches. I am a member of MOKAD, EACR, EMS, IFSM, and IFSHC, and I have received several publication incentive awards, including TÜBİTAK awards.
