Nashir Udden, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a cancer biologist with expertise in molecular and cellular oncology, radiation biology, therapy resistance, and tumor immunology. His research focuses on understanding mechanisms of therapeutic resistance and tumor microenvironmental reprogramming, including innate immune signaling, and translating these discoveries into rational combination therapies. His work integrates molecular biology, preclinical cancer models, bioinformatics, and translational approaches. Dr. Udden is also committed to scientific mentoring, collaborative research, and the development of innovative strategies to improve cancer treatment outcomes.
