Information

Andrew's research focuses heavily on the conversion of light energy into other forms. This includes the development of novel solar cell architectures, combining low cost technologies such as Dye-sensitised Solar Cells and Organic PV with ‘third generation’ concepts, such as photon up-conversion and tandem architectures. He is also involved developments of various photocatalytic systems, including water purification, water splitting as well as carbon dioxide and nitrogen reduction.
