I am a PhD candidate at the Centre for Smart Modern Construction (c4SMC), Western Sydney University. I obtained a BSc first class honours degree in Quantity Surveying from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in 2016. After graduation I rendered my service to University of Moratuwa as a Lecturer prior to commencement of my PhD. My PhD is on developing a methodology for estimating embodied carbon through a blockchain platform for construction supply chains (Project Zero). My research interests are in carbon emissions, embodied carbon and blockchain technology. I have published more than 20 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers.
