Professor Neil Mansfield is Head of Engineering at Nottingham Trent University. He has worked in the field of Human Factors Engineering since the 1990s focusing on comfort, performance and wellbeing of vehicles. Projects have had applications with automotive, offroad agriculture and mining, aircraft, marine, elite sport and military. He is past president of the Chartered Institute of Human Factors and Ergonomics, and past editor of Ergonomics. He is a founding organiser of International Comfort Congress.
