Asst. Prof. Nevenka Piskač Živković, MD I have been a consultant internist and pulmonologist at the University Hospital Dubrava in Zagreb, Croatia, since 2008, specializing in pulmonary oncology and invasive diagnostic methods such as endobronchial and thoracic ultrasound, navigational bronchoscopy, and cryobiopsy. I hold certifications in various diagnostic methods through numerous educational and training programs with the European Respiratory Society (ERS) of which I have been a member since 2013, after I obtained The European Diploma in Respiratory Medicine (HERMES).My scientific activity began during graduate studies, but the most significant contributions came while leading the Respiratory Center PRIC KB Dubrava during the COVID-19 pandemic(2020/2021). I published several research papers in collaboration with numerous colleagues who participated in the treatment of the then unknown disease. I defended my doctoral dissertation at the School of Medicine, University of Zagreb, in 2019. In March 2023, I was appointed as Assistant Professor in Biomedicine and Health, specializing in Clinical Medical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Zagreb. I have authored multiple scientific publications, achieving an h-index of 9. I actively participate in both international and domestic scientific conferences.
