Orlando Susarrey-Huerta, from the Polytechnic National Institute (IPN), ESIME-Zacatenco, is a Mechanical Engineer (IPN) (1993) and Master of Manufacturing System-Materials, ITESM (1996), and he has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at IPN (1998). He is now Professor of Mechanical Eng./ESIME Zacatenco (IPN). His work in Materials has resulted in 50 publications, 500 citations, and 100 courses, and he has supervised 18 PhDs 37 MsDs. His research interests include fracture mechanics, mechanical behavior, mechanical design, and fractal mechanics.
