She is the author of five textbooks. She was the supervisor of 47 gradual students and 15 postgraduate students, and the chairman of the Board for doctoral thesis in physiology. Her scientific work has been focused on the physiological role of inositol lipids and calcium. She has urged the health risks of fluoridated drinking water and several food additives. She published 14 scientific-popular books in the Czech, three of them became bestsellers (www.strunecka.cz). In the years 2002–2003 she was the coordinator of the proposal for grant of the EC EU European Fluoride and Aluminium Network of Excellence (EFANE) to priority Food Quality and Safety. The EFANE consortium consisted of 357 participants from 17 countries. The objective of EFANE was to integrate health risks exposure to fluoride and aluminum from environmental sources.
