Thomas D. Parsons, PhD is a clinical neuropsychologist, Professor, and Directs both the iCenter for Affective Neurotechnologies (iCAN) and the Computational Neuropsychology and Simulation (CNS) Lab at the University of North Texas. He is a leading scientist in the integration of neuropsychology and simulation technologies (PI: 17 funded projects; Co-I: 13). He holds patents for eHarmony.com's Matching System and has invented several virtual reality platforms. He has authored five books and has over 200 publications. He received the 2013 National Academy of Neuropsychology Early Career Achievement award. In 2014, he was awarded Fellow status in the National Academy of Neuropsychology.
