I am an international expert in textile-based smart materials looking for their innovative development and integration into emerging multi-sectorial technologies. The strong scientific background in material science, smart and functional bio-coatings, applied plasma research and processing, environmental chemistry, nanotechnology, as well as the expertise in polymer engineering permit me to implement novel front-line research lines in various internationally recognized laboratories. I successfully acquired substantial funding from competitive public as well as industry sources. I have abundant experience in research and project management, including European Commission founded research projects. Currently, I am a leader of Advanced Material Research and R&D&I Coordinator at Functional Textiles Unit of EURECAT. Together with my co-authors I published over 250 publications including 70 peer-reviewed papers resulted in 2424 citations (excluding self-citations) and h-index of 24 according to SCOPUS (accessed 05/03/2021).
