Dr. Pietro Roversi

Pietro grew up in Verona, Italy and holds a Master and a PhD in Structural Chemistry from the University of Milano, Italy (1987-1997). During his PhD Pietro was fortunate enough to spend a year in Cambridge, England, working with Dr. Gerard Bricogne at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology; and he returned to Cambridge as a postdoc (1997-2003). Pietro then moved to two long post-doctoral stints at Oxford University, England - first with Prof. Susan Lea (2003-2012) and then (after a sabbatical year at the CIC BioGUNE in Bilbao (Basque Country)) with Prof. Nicole Zitzmann (2013-2018). In 2018 Pietro was appointed to a LISCB Wellcome Trust ISSF Fellowship and started his own research group at LISCB at Leicester University (England).
