I defended my PhD thesis in Physics: Rheological and spectroscopic study of some polymeric systems of pharmaceutical interest, in 2010. In this regard, I characterized by rheological methods and Raman spectroscopy the evolution of some aqueous gels like PEO (750/1105) and Carbopol (960) polymeric matrices, involved in the release processes, of the active drug substance: Clotrimazole. Between 2011-2013 I held the position of Postdoctoral Research Assistant - in the Postdoctoral Project with the name: Collective phenomena of electrical conduction and diffusion in doped polymers where I carried out a series of complex investigations on Carbopol matrices doped with Black Carbon, Cr2O3 and ammonia, the aim of obtaining complex systems in which the transdermal release of drugs can be electronically controlled. I have continued these studies till present, but since 2019 I have expanded my research to biological systems in the veterinary and horticultural fields, all of this for the development of deeper research, where my training contribution (physics and chemistry), as well as the experience gained - are welcome. In the field of horticulture, I was directly involved in study and characterizing the antioxidant behavior of Sea Buckthorn grown under different color filters, performed by through chemical methods and magnetic resonance spectroscopy. I was also directly involved in the study of essential oils exposed to various physical factors: electric/magnetic field and LASER.
