Prof. Rashmi Ranjan Panigrahi (PhD) is presently serving as an Associate Dean of Research at XIM University, Odisha, India. His research interest areas are inventory management, supply chain and logistics, digitalization, circular economy, and sustainability. Prior to joining XIM University, he served as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in Operations and Supply Chain Management at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Hyderabad, affiliated to Symbiosis International (Deemed University), and as DRC Chairperson and Thematic Lead (Operations and Supply Chain Resilience) at GITAM School of Business, affiliated to GITAM (Deemed to be University). He holds a PhD in Inventory Management from Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (Deemed to be University) and brings over 15 years of experience in academia, research, and limited industry engagement. Prof. Panigrahi has published more than 55 papers in leading Scopus, Web of Science (SSCI/ESCI), ABDC, and ABS-indexed journals, along with book chapters with Springer, Routledge, and CRC Press. He serves as editor for Scientific Reports (Sustainability) and Discover Sustainability, associate editor for the International Journal of Service Science, Management, Engineering and Technology, and is on the editorial review board of the Journal of Global Operations and Strategic Sourcing. His contributions have been nationally recognized with the AIMS Management Scholar Award (2024), and he also serves on executive boards of select companies.
