Winter Sinkala is an associate professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences and Computing at Walter Sisulu University. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal and an MSc in Mathematics from the University of Zimbabwe. His research interests include Lie symmetry analysis of differential equations, Fixed point theory, and the Learning and Teaching of Mathematics. He has authored/co-authored more than fifteen peer-reviewed journal articles and is a reviewer for several journals. He has taught many courses for both undergraduates and postgraduates, and supervised postgraduate students.
