QiaoMei Sun obtained Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Engineering from Sichuan University in 2020, and is the Head of the Teaching and Research Section of the Pharmaceutical Engineering at Sichuan University. The research mainly focuses on the fields of medicine and health as well as biological nanomaterials, conducting interdisciplinary and integrated research. The main research topics include: a. Interaction between protein-ligand supramolecular systems. Based on a variety of modern analytical testing techniques and computer-aided drug design, a recognition model between biological macromolecules (such as proteins, peptides, and DNA) and chemical small molecules is investigated. b. Intelligent drug targeted delivery system. Based on metal-organic framework biofunctional materials such as cyclodextrin and gallic acid, new drug carriers and delivery systems are developed by using nanotechnology, molecular biology and medicinal chemistry methods to achieve targeted drug delivery and controlled release.
