Dr. Rafik Rajjak Shaikh is a chemist and materials researcher with more than 15 years of post-PhD research and academic experience across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He has worked in areas spanning organic and applied chemistry, polymer science, biomaterials, nanoscience and nanotechnology, and advanced materials characterization and testing. His research focuses on sustainable catalysis, functional materials, catalytic conversion of biomass and CO₂, renewable energy, and waste-to-value chemical processes. His work involves catalyst design, structure–activity relationships, catalyst deactivation, and spectroscopic and analytical characterization.
