Biography

Highly motivated Research Scientist experienced with analytical, protein purification, and molecular biochemistry. Currently, working as a Research Associate-II at MCRI, Tufts Medical Centre, Boston, Investigating the efficacy of recombinant protein to develop new enzyme replacement therapy for a genetic cardiomyopathy disorder, BARTH Syndrome. Performing mid-scale protein expression and purification for the evaluation of therapeutic candidate’s using an automated Chromatography system and further analysis by SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, and finally used for structural-functional characterization. I am also, well trained in In-vitro cytotoxicity assay, Cell based assay, Multiplex assay, RT-PCR, IHC, animal handling, biochemistry methods, and statistical analysis with expertise in LCMS/MS doing cardiolipin profile and peptide analysis in different biological matrices. Previously, worked as postdoctoral fellow at National Drug Dependence Treatment Center (NDDTC), Department of Psychiatry, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, India, assessed the extent and pattern of Newer Psychoactive Substance (NPS) use among treatment seeking substance users in India using Q-TOF/LCMS/MS. I have completed my Ph.D. from NDDTC, Department of Psychiatry, AIIMS, New Delhi, India, in the field of Neurobiology of Addiction.
