I am an Associate Professor at Paris Lodron University of Salzburg, Austria, working in mineralogy, crystallography, and materials science. My research focuses on the crystal chemistry, structural properties, and phase transitions of minerals and functional materials under varying temperature, pressure, and chemical conditions. I employ powder and single-crystal X-ray diffraction, neutron diffraction, 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and infrared spectroscopy to investigate both long-range crystal structures and local material properties. My current interests include energy-storage materials, NASICON-type compounds, solid-state ion conductors, silicate and germanate structures, and the relationship between crystal structure and transport properties. I am involved in teaching mineralogy, crystallography, diffraction methods, and materials characterization at the University of Salzburg.
