Dr. Reliance Jain is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Ajou University, South Korea. His research integrates artificial intelligence and machine learning with alloy design and advanced materials processing. He previously served as a Research Professor at Yeungnam University, South Korea, where he worked on interdisciplinary projects involving high-entropy alloys, computational thermodynamics, and microstructural analysis. Dr. Jain received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Indore, India, and holds an M.Tech. from NIT Rourkela and a B.E. from Govt. SATI Vidisha. His research interests include machine learning for materials design, modeling of hot deformation behavior, ICME approaches, robotics and automation, and thermodynamic simulations. He has expertise in experimental processing techniques such as vacuum arc melting, squeeze casting, and welding, as well as in advanced characterization using FESEM, XRD, and thermal-mechanical simulators. Dr. Jain is also skilled in FEM, Thermo-Calc, and ANN/ML-based predictive modeling, contributing to the accelerated development of structural materials through a data-driven, multidisciplinary approach.
