Ricardo Salgado holds a PhD in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, a postgraduate degree in Aquaculture and a Master's degree in Marine Resources Ecology. He is adjunct professor at Polytechnic University of Setúbal and a researcher at MARE- Center for marine and environment research. He has research experience in water quality monitoring, growth and production studies in oyster aquaculture and environmental and marine biotechnology. He has experience in coordinating research projects and advanced training in the Master's degree in Aquaculture Engineering and Management.
