Dr. Walter Riofrío

I am Associate Research Professor in the Faculty of Science and Philosophy at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, working as researcher on Theoretical Biology within framework of the complex systems science in topics such as the origins and properties of prebiotic systems, the structure of cell signaling networks, the nature of neural information processing, the emergence of biological functions and its relations with the autonomy property, among other interesting problems. On the other hand, I am interested in the latest advances on synthetic and systems biology with the main goal of proposing new developments.
