I am Medical doctor, with specialization and PhD in Social medicine, and specialization in Health education, with more than 25 years of professional experience in the field of Public Health. I work as Assistant Professor in Social Medicine at Medical faculty University of Nis, Serbia and as well, I am engaged at Institute for Public Health Nis, Serbia, in the Centre for Health promotion as specialist in Social medicine and specialist in Health education, what enables me to connect science and practice. I have been involved in different Public Health projects and activities which were based on intersectoral cooperation in the community, and examine the health impacts arising from the community and the environment, addressing social determinants of health. My field of interest are diverse Public Health issues, related scientific approach and implementation in practice.
